What is The ONLINE GALAXY?

The ONLINE GALAXY is a spaceship environment or virtual galaxy where kids (“Explorers”) play games, interact with friends, and learn about space in the guise of Robot avatars designed and created by the Explorer.

NOTE: Kids that own ROBOTGALAXY toy Robots are able to plug in their Robots to the ONLINE GALAXY using their Supersonic Fuel Cell to receive new downloads, game hints and an “Enhanced Play” experience.

How do I play?

There are two ways to play in the ONLINE GALAXY – Virtually and Enhanced.

Virtually, Explorers enter the spaceship and create a Robot in the "arsenal". After creating a Robot avatar, Explorers train their Robot to fly, shoot, and drive in a series of fun and imaginative space-themed games on the "Training Deck". During training, Explorers accumulate "G-Stars" (or points) that they can exchange for new Robot parts and use on the Battle Station. On the Battle Station, Explorers can combat other Explorers. As Explorers increase their G-Stars points, they raise their standing or rank in the ONLINE GALAXY entitling them to better combat tactics, new Robot skills and parts. Explorers are also challenged daily with quests and other surprises...

Enhanced Play is like Virtual (described above), but better. During Enhanced Play, Explorers connect their toy Robot to the computer via a USB cable with the Supersonic Fuel Cell. Once connected, the Robot instantly becomes the Explorer’s avatar. As the Explorer plays, the toy Robot guides him/her through the experience with hints. When the Explorer leaves the virtual world, the toy Robot evolves reflecting the Explorer’s level of accomplishment, with downloads of new sound effects, speech, LED colors. We even offer the ability for the Explorer to program his/her own text-to-speech and an alarm clock in the robot.

At anytime during the experience Virtual Explorers can upgrade their account to Enhanced Play by purchasing their physical Robot avatar in our shop

Is it safe?

ROBOT GALAXY is committed to creating a safe and fun play environment. To that end, there is no way for our Explorers to communicate with other players, protecting their identity and insuring their safety. We do recommend that parents encourage their kids to practice the following safety guidelines while online:

1. Never give out personal information, such as your real name, age, location, phone number or school
2. Never share your password with anyone except your parents. Someone else might use your password and pretend to be you, give out your personal information or do something that may get you into trouble.
3. Tell your parents if someone says or does something on the Internet that makes you uncomfortable, or if someone asks you for personal information.
4. Choose a username that does not reflect your real identity. Avoid names that are in any way suggestive, even if they seem innocent to you.
5. Avoid chat rooms that are not monitored by moderators.

The ONLINE GALAXY is free, however to enjoy the benefits of Enhanced Play you need to purchase a Robot at our shop.
